Samsung brings innovation to people’s lives worldwide. MCD teamed up with Samsung to help tell this story. Our responsive redesign of their site combines smart ecommerce, user-centric design and a powerful brand experience so users can seamlessly learn, shop & own across devices.
Making the Customer Our BFF
Samsung products are inspired by customers, and this redesign puts the user front and center of the experience. The customer journey has been streamlined so users are now only 2-clicks away from purchase anywhere across the site. The product experience has also been completed re-architected into a single page, including smart product comparison and integrated real-time personalization.
A Lean, Mobile First Process
Early creative sessions included collaborative Design Studio’s at Samsung where client/agency teams worked on sketching and sharing ideas that would more effectively drive the overall vision for the website. And as the first fully responsive ecommerce site in the consumer electronics category, these sessions focused around the mobile experience as the first digital touchpoint for customers with the brand.
