Discover Reclaims Top Spot in the J.D. Power 2018 Credit Card Satisfaction Study

We're excited that Discover recently ranked highest for credit card customer satisfaction among U.S. credit card companies in the J.D. Power 2018 U.S. Credit Card Satisfaction Study.
The rankings were based on feedback from more than 24,000 credit card users, measuring satisfaction levels that customers have with their primary credit card company.
Discover cardmembers ranked the company highest in Overall Satisfaction and Loyalty. And within the Overall Satisfaction category, Discover ranked #1 for rewards, credit card terms, communication, and channel activities.
Customer service has always been ingrained in Discover's DNA since the company was founded in 1986. This commitment has never been stronger with offerings like 24/7 live, U.S.-based customer service and FICO® Credit Scores for free on monthly statements or online through Credit Scorecard. Plus new industry innovations—like being the first major credit card to offer its cardmembers Social Security number alerts and new credit account alerts for free.
"Discover has an enthusiastic customer-centric culture that you just can't fake; and it's paying off big time for them," notes John Caruso, Partner/CCO, MCD Partners. "Clearly their cardmembers appreciate it and thank them with their fervent loyalty—ranking Discover highest for four of the last five years."
MCD congratulates Discover on their success and looks forward continuing our work together—improving and innovating customer experience.
