Our comprehensive redesign of Samsung’s US site combines smart ecommerce, user-centric design and a powerful brand experience.
The hero of the Samsung brand story is always the customer. By combining user research with the industry’s best practices, we crafted a UX experience that puts the user front and center of the experience. Early creative sessions where client/agency teams worked on collaborative sketching and ideas sharing meant we solved design and content issues quickly getting us to a point where we could stand behind a shared vision for the new site.

Armed with stronger messaging and a focused content strategy, the redesign gives Samsung a more powerful voice to tell their brand story. Videos, articles, product galleries, and branded content make the product marketing more meaningful showing how Samsung enriches everyday life through a world of connected living.

Beauty is screen deep
Gorgeous design and smarter living is the DNA of all Samsung products. We created photography guidelines for their website to reflect and support this vision. The new look has a fresh, contemporary feel that highlights the beauty and function of their products while alluding to an aspirational lifestyle.
Live from CES
CES is an important for event for the electronics industry. We teamed with Samsung to provide live coverage of the show and generate buzz about their latest products. Our blogging team hit their showroom floor to serve up a real-time, boots-on-the-ground P.O.V of everything Samsung — we’re talking articles, up-close product photography, hands-on demos, tech specs, behind-the-scenes exclusives, and live streaming videos. CES may be invite-only, but our responsive blog gave customers a front row seat to all the excitement.
Happy Black Friday
Black Friday is a big day for the electronics industry. MCD has been responsible for creating Samsung’s overall Black Friday digital campaigns for 2011 and 2012. The initiative includes identity, branding, social messaging and site ecommerce experience.
