PULSE

Flip over a payment card and there’s a good chance you’ll find a PULSE logo on the back. This industry-leading debit network serves financial institutions and their cardholders by enabling secure payments across the globe.

PULSE Debit Dashboard

PULSE asked MCD to make the epic amount of data they gather from consumer debit transactions more usable for the financial institutions they serve. So we built them a data visualization tool with a simple and intuitive interface that allows users to dig deeper into their data for greater insight.

Data is better when it’s digestible

Now, financial institutions don’t feel the stress of information overload. Instead, they get up to the minute, high-level views of their debit data. The tool allows them to perform deep analysis, easily spot trends, forecast growth, create custom reports, and get a better view of the competitive landscape.

See how it comes together

PULSE Debit Dashboard lives on a B-to-B site that requires a login, but luckily, the client put together this great video so you can see it in action.

Delivering a new site redesign

Before designing a single pixel, we took a close look at the existing PULSE site and quickly determined that the needs of their core audience were not being adequately served. As part of our recommended strategy, the new site was streamlined with more tightly-focused content for financial institutions. The design direction offers a bright, open aesthetic inspired by modern technology, as well as a striking iconography system. And most importantly, simplified navigation and UX allows both current and potential customers to more easily find what they’re looking for.

Better access for existing customers

As part of the redesign, PULSE asked us to create more functional portal for existing customers with easier access to critical applications, educational media, and relevant site content.
