I Spy the AI — Agency Holiday Card 2022

Our MCD Holiday Card may seem all fun and games. But at its core, it’s a full-blown experiment in existentialism: is art still art if it’s AI-generated? Called “I Spy the AI,: we gave a list of holiday-themed creative prompts to our designers—and then gave the same prompts to an AI bot. An example would be, “Film still of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer in an office cubicle.” We then show all 6 designs to the players and ask them to spot the one that is not human made.
