# platform
what MCD's own platform for building client products: the whole team works on the real product at the same time
built-by MCD Partners, for its own teams; MCD uses it on its own work before bringing it to client work
for-clients Changes are seen sooner in the real product, budget goes to judgment instead of coordination, and nothing ships without a senior sign-off
roles Creatives, developers and managers can all move the work forward
availability MCD is opening Flock to partners next

# how-it-works
ask Anyone on the team picks the project and describes the change in plain language
build Flock builds it in a private copy of the project, in its own isolated sandbox
review Whoever asked is told when it is ready, and can review it on a phone, tablet or laptop
sign-off A senior engineer signs off; nothing goes out without a human on it

# safeguards
isolated-sandbox Every change is built in its own isolated sandbox
role-permissions A request outside the asker's role is blocked, such as a designer's request that touches backend code
senior-sign-off A senior engineer approves every change
version-control Every change is recorded in version control
push-access The AI has no push access
secrets Encrypted, and injected only at runtime

# offer
bring-us-a-real-request On a call with MCD's team, Flock builds a working version of a change the prospect has been waiting on, while they watch
built-on A prototype, not the prospect's live product; a senior engineer reviews everything shown

# outline

## This is Flock

We built it to put our whole team on the real product at the same time. You see changes sooner, your budget goes to judgment instead of coordination, and nothing ships without a senior sign-off.

## It used to take a relay team

One feature used to pass through five people: a designer drew it in Figma, an account lead passed it to the client in Miro, a project manager wrote it up as a ticket, a developer built it on a laptop, and QA checked it on a staging link. With Flock, the baton never changes hands. Whoever has the idea describes it, watches it get built in the real product, and gets it signed off by a senior engineer.

A 30-second film on the page tells the same story: five handoffs across a week, then one person, one sandbox and a senior sign-off the same morning. Its timings are illustrative.

## Most companies bought a few tools. We changed how the work gets done

That shows up in what we make for clients: faster turns, great products, and a team that can answer a business ask while it still matters.

- You see the real thing, sooner: we use Flock on our own work before bringing it to yours. Not a demo, not a slide, a working product.
- It gets better as we go: we built it for our teams, and add to it when the work asks for something new, so a client's account does not wait on someone else's roadmap.

## Anyone can ask. Flock builds it. A senior engineer signs off

- It starts with plain language: anyone on our team opens Flock, picks the project and describes the change. No engineers required.
- It gets built in a secure environment: a private copy of the project spins up in its own isolated sandbox.
- Reviews happen anywhere: phone, tablet or laptop.
- A person always signs off: if it looks right it moves forward, and if not the work continues. Nothing goes out without a human on it.

## Speed is worthless if the work is not good

Tools do not replace taste; they give our strongest people more hours in the day to use it. Every change passes the same four gates, whoever asked for it: an isolated sandbox, role permissions, a senior sign-off, and a record in version control.

- Our seniors go further: the people who already know what good looks like spend their time on direction and review, so clients get more of them, not less.
- Craft still decides: brand, accessibility and performance, the things a shortcut will miss.

## Everyone who touches the work can move it forward

- Creatives ask for the spacing, the color or the layout, and see it in the real build.
- Developers review and steer, instead of grinding through the obvious.
- Managers write the brief and the release from what is in the project today.

## Bring us a real request

This page was built with Flock. Tell us about a change you have been waiting on, and on a call with our team we will build a working version of it on a prototype while you watch. A sentence or two is plenty; leave out anything confidential.
