Congratulations to Discover, a 2016 CIO 100 Winner
MCD Partners would like to congratulate Discover Financial Services for being named a 2016 CIO 100 Winner for Innovative Technology Project.
The International Data Group’s CIO 100 Awards honor 100 companies for excellence and achievement in information technology. Winners are selected by a team of external judges, many of which are former CIOs.
Discover was recognized for their enhancements to the Discover Student Loans experience. A complete responsive redesign, the Discover Student Loans account center has been re-concepted to provide a personalized experience for college students and their parents throughout the entire loan process.
“By creating a dashboard that’s accessible from any device, they’ve created a really visual and customized experience,” said John Caruso, Partner and Creative Director, MCD Partners. “It’s something college kids can check on their phones between classes—something that looks and feels like the internet they’ve grown up with. But it’s also something parents can view at home.”
Designed with both audiences in mind, the content is easy to understand and the experience is easy to navigate. Key payment and application information are now front and center, increasing transparency while delivering key messaging from the business.
And it was truly a team effort.
